preparing
for your shoot

Everyone asks us what to wear and what to bring.

There are no rules. Our style is very relaxed. The general guide is to wear what makes you feel good. Don't force children into clothes that will restrict them or make them feel uncomfortable.

The studio is white so bold colours look better than white or pale tones. Also, try and avoid logos or t-shirt designs that will date your portraits. If you are unsure, bring a few different items, your photographer will help you choose.

Bring any props you feel will help to make the shoot your own. Musical instruments, sports equipment and favourite toys are often a good idea; and don't forget your pets. Dogs in particular are usually great at making the family laugh and relax.
